It’s beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMASSSSS! I know it’s not that time of year yet, but I am that girl that once we hit Fall, I basically skip Halloween and Thanksgiving to start planning out Christmas!

I feel like a lot of us are the same page with being excited for Fall. We’ve been stuck inside for all of Spring and Summer, so now is when we start getting back out there (safely) and enjoying this time of year! Let’s talk about some Fall essentials we should look out for this upcoming holiday season!

Pumpkin Spice ANYTHING!

When we talk about Fall, we could just talk about how you should go grab a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks and call it a day, but let’s be realistic. Almost anything that includes pumpkin spice will just immediately give you those Fall vibes. Now I need you to pay attention to this next part because this is for my people who don’t necessarily enjoy the pumpkin flavor. Go to Costco, or find someone who has a membership there, and grab some pumpkin spice muffins! I am telling you that they are a game changer! I wasn’t a huge fan of anything pumpkin flavored until I tried these muffins in high school; and I haven’t looked back since. What’s nice about them is that the flavor isn’t overbearing. There is this sweet hint of cinnamon and little cake crumbs on top that make this treat so sastifying. Wow….I need to go grab some asap.

Neutrals

This Fall season is all about comfort as we step into our own new normal. So how can we still incorporate that comfort while looking our best? Let’s start by thinking about some colors that represent calm and cool Fall vibes. Tan, Cream, White, Brown, Maroon, Burnt Orange, and Forest Green. These are some main colors that come to mind when thinking about heading into the new season. Now let’s talk about clothing pieces.

  • Neutral tops/bodysuits

  • Graphic Tees

  • Turtlenecks

  • Button down tops

  • Mom jeans/shorts

  • Sweatpants

  • Blazers

These are some great staples to have in your wardrobe because you can easily style your outfit up or down and still fit the season! Now if you live in Florida, like I do, then you’re not necessarily jumping to pull out your turtleneck sweaters in this heat! An alternate option would be to swap out a cream turtleneck sweater for a simple brown crop top with some mom jeans, sneakers, and gold accent jewelry. There you have one look ready to go!

Fall Decor

I currently do still live with my parents, but my Pinterest apartment board says other wise! I can’t WAIT to decorate my first apartment for every single season! This is a small example of what I would want it to look like!

It’s as simple as adding a few accent colored blankets/pillows, fall scented candles, and mini decorated pumpkins to bring the feeling of the season into your home. Head to your local Home Goods, TJ Maxx, or Hobby Lobby to pick up some affordable and super cute Fall decor and have some fun!

While we may be jumping into the holiday season, and we are going crazy decorating, planning, and shopping. Let’s not forget about the real reason for this season. It’s to give thanks and reflect on all that you have been blessed with this year. It has been a rough year, but there is still time to enjoy it to the fullest with the ones you love. So let’s end this year on a great note…..and don’t forget to VOTE!
